1:50 Model
This showed the connection between my public and private spaces, whilst also demonstrating the materiality of the building(tiled for public and floor boards for private). I found this section demonstrated all there was to understand about the concepts of my design, with the views from the cafe back down into the gallery, and also how the gallery connects to the house.1:100 Model
I found this model demonstrated my overall building in a great manner, allowing people to properly understand the building via a tactile manner. I thought the the amount of detail that was put into it, from the small screening device at the front, to the window frames at the back, and the spiral staircase, all allowed the model to look extremely realistic and professional. Via constructing this model, I was also able to learn more about how the building would be constructed, and allowed me to find any errors within my plans.

Project 3 Presentation
This was the presentation that I presented for my final project. It was a site in Kings Cross, that needed to have two houses, a gallery, and a public garden. My project intergrates a gallery and a cafe, that work together as one, however are seperate elements. Overall I think my final presentation was very strong, with alot of refining over the three weeks from my great tutor Yoshi, who was always able to give my design that extra bit to make it stronger. As you can see from my previous posts, I was able have the cafe work with the gallery in a way that each compliement each other, from the glass from the cafe giving the cafe a view in, to the large skylight allowing natural light into the gallery, also serving as a viewing platform from people from the cafe. I think the via splitting the site into public and private (as demonstrated by the coloured plans) I was able to achieve a stonger design.

Final Week Before Submission
This week I focussed my attention on enhancing the cafe and gallery space, whilst also resolving the units more. As can be seen above, I tried to put more windows in to allow light into not only the cafe, but also the gallery space. The feedback was extremely helpful, and enabled me to push my concept much further. I introduced a roof garden for the public, that had a glass box allowing not only alot fo natural light into the gallery, but also a viewing platform for the people from the cafe. I thought this was extremely helpful, and can be seen within my final presenation. Other feedback for this week was to change the bifolding doors to sliding doors, as bifolds usually bifold outwards (which I didnt know), thus over my boundary. I also had to alter other walls within my plans to allow for a larger outdoor terrace area. These change can all be seen within my final presentation drawings
