Project 3 Presentation

This was the presentation that I presented for my final project. It was a site in Kings Cross, that needed to have two houses, a gallery, and a public garden. My project intergrates a gallery and a cafe, that work together as one, however are seperate elements. Overall I think my final presentation was very strong, with alot of refining over the three weeks from my great tutor Yoshi, who was always able to give my design that extra bit to make it stronger. As you can see from my previous posts, I was able have the cafe work with the gallery in a way that each compliement each other, from the glass from the cafe giving the cafe a view in, to the large skylight allowing natural light into the gallery, also serving as a viewing platform from people from the cafe. I think the via splitting the site into public and private (as demonstrated by the coloured plans) I was able to achieve a stonger design.
